Par 4 | Tom Fazio has a reputation of designing great short par fours. The 9th is a classic example. There is plenty of room to drive the ball. It is best to aim at the fairway bunker on the right side. Most players will be left with a wedge approach. This is when the fun begins. A ball hit to the center of the green with too much spin can roll completely off the front of the green into a sand bunker. Also, be careful about being too aggressive to a right side hole location. A shot hit slightly long will end up in a collection area behind the green. From behind the 9th green, it is very difficult to get "up and down." One more thing, varying wind conditions can only add to the challenge provided by the short par four 9th.
